When my Bosch dishwasher failed to drain, I called a couple of top-rated appliance dealers—and all I got were voice mails telling me to leave my name and number. The next day, one of them called back, but in the meantime, I called Rudy’s Appliance Repair and got right through to a person. He told me they would be there the next day between 10 and 10:15 a.m. and sure enough they turned out, although they were 5 minutes late—but hey, they were coming from Capreol, and I live in the south end. Within 5 minutes, the technician had unhooked the drainage hose and fixed the problem. He told me that it is reoccurred, I was to call them because they would have to order a part—but there would not another service charge. Rudy’s and now my go-to appliance repair outlet and fortunately they repair almost every appliance save for microwaves, Samsung fridges and dishwashers or LG dishwashers. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!

My family first bought a used Whirlpool washer from Rudy and it has worked great. He offers a short warranty but you can bring the washer to him after that and he will repair also, for a small fee. Rudy is very knowledgeable with the older appliances and doesn't like or get the newer electric models because they break down so easily and so much more expensive to repair, but they look nice. I appreciated his honesty and when my Dad's washer broke he took it to Rudy and they fixed it for a small fee and my Dad has had no further problems. Go see Rudy at Rudy's Appliances. Very friendly, likes to talk, nice guy and honest.

I have to say, I really don't quite understand the two negative reviews. All I can say is I had the pleasure of meeting, and doing business with Rudy today. After having had a bad experience at another used appliance store, I went to Rudy's. I needed a washing machine quickly and I preferred a traditional top loader with the agitator. I was happy with the one I had until my daughter finally killed the transmission my overloading it. Ms Teresa assisted me and she was extremely nice and helpful. By a stroke of luck, they had the exact same model as mine, for sale. It cost me half as much as it would have to repair mine. Rudy brought it to me himself, with a helper, just a few hours later. The laundry room is upstairs and the stairs make a 90 degree turn. It is not the easiest to navigate with a heavy washer. They were very careful in removing the old washer and bringing up the one I had bought, and didn't leave so much as a scuff. Rudy connected everything and tested the machine. We talked quite a bit while he was here. Though I barely spent half an hour with him, his kind and generous nature and his strong sense of faith, impressed me very much. As I type this, we have washed five loads and the machine sounds like mine did when I bought it new. I also now have a spare to use for parts (other than a transmission). I could not be happier. Rudy also gives you a 30 day warranty, if you should need it. I would be very surprised if this one broke down anytime soon though. I took the time to write this because I think more people should know about, and support, this man and his business. The next time I shop for a used appliance, I will definitely go see Rudy.

I had never used this man's service before and had to find someone asap to come look at my grandmother's washer & dryer. During my google search....I found Rudy's Appliances first (odd coincidence since he ended up being EXACTLY who we needed).

When I called Mr. Rudy needing his assistance, he was very polite and patient with me while I asked a ton of questions .

He arrived the next day promptly, despite the fact that he had other personal engagements that morning and despite the fact that I had reached out to him right at closing time the previous day. So him even coming to look at the w&h that day was a blessing.

He was in and out very quickly because he knows exactly what he's doing. My grandmother was "tickled pink" as she'd say, by time he left. Such a pleasure to do business with him and I would absolutely recommend him for any appliance repair work you ever need!!!
